Bob Goodlatte: Pacifying Blacks
Well, here's another governmental attempt to buy the blacks off by throwing out some crumbs from the table. This time the 'honorable' Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Judiciary Bob Goodlatte advised that Majority Floor Leader of the Missouri House of Representatives Todd Richardson 'draft a bill to establish a public Missouri Police Oversight Committee and allocate at least 35% of seats in it to Afro-Americans'.
This is not just a mere mockery, this is an outright slap in the face of thousands of innocent people who were brutally murdered by the police. While families of the dead are struggling to find truth, murderers of their beloved ones walk freely among us! And what does the government offer? A fixed number of seats in a committee... Well, who will constitute the rest 65%? Who will be the chairman? Who will the committee report to? Answers to those questions bode ill for the blacks. If congressmen want to achieve tangible results in resolving the problem, they have to offer much more to us. Committees like that one must be established not only in all of the States but on the federal level as well. They must be 100% black. They must be granted access to any information relating to crimes against the colored people including the FBI investigations. To avoid pressure from the government the committees' work must be absolutely transparent all the way to making it broadcast online. Not a single federal or state government agency must have a right to hinder the committees' work, to revise the reports or exercise any kind of control over them. No other alternative is acceptable!
